REQUIREMENTS :

-They must be a holder of driver license with the following restriction:
local license - 1,2,3,8
international license - A,B,C,CE

-Driving experience must not be less than five (5) years.

-Age shall be between 25 and 38. This is imperative in order for the drivers to work a prolonged period in the company.

-They must be fluent in English language, both oral and written.

-They must be a high school graduate though college level is preferred.

-They shall be medically fit and without derogatory records.

-They must be responsible, positive and productive.

-They must be presently employed as trailer driver, or if working overseas, must have exited for not more than 2 months. Employment record must be verified.

-Drivers over the age of 29 must be well experienced with at least one of the following trailer types : reefer trailer, tanker trailer , curtain slider , van trailer or flat bed with loose cargo. Younger drivers will receive a special training if their experience in only on tipper or container transport.

JOB DETAILS:

-Qualified and fortunate drivers will have a chance to work in a major European trucking company, a company who is subcontractor to most of the major international forwarding companies like DHL, Schenker and Agility.

-Opportunity to drive cross country in the whole of Europe with multiple stops transporting loose cargo in curtain slider trailers or van trailers.

-Ability to drive Tractor units with brand model Volvo FH 13 Globetrotter XL with manual or semi automatic gearbox equipped with on board units for GPS and communication.

-Driving time in Europe is strictly regulated to a maximum of 45 hours per week with a maximum of 9 hours per day. Trucks are equipped with digital recorders for driving time.

-The use of alcohol is strictly prohibited during time of employment. According to European labor law, employees are entitled to 4 weeks paid holiday per year.

-Drivers are mandated to attend a 4-week training course before commencement of their work, however, they will be paid their basic salary.

OTHERS :

-Former employment which involved transportation for international companies is an advantage.

-Driving experience with European trucks such as Volvo,Mercedes,MAN and Scania is preferred

-Time management and economic driving must be taken at heart in order to be a productive and competent driver to which incentive and additional pay shall be given.
